If Bob shows up like this most nights for the rest of the season we are gonna be fine. Vasi was crazy on some of those saves too.

Today our 2nd and 3rd lines lost the game for us.

Tampa was effective at shutting down HBD but they can't carry the team every game. This was a game for Tro, Vatrano and Hoffman to really step up. I leave Conman out as he's done enough as it is, but our secondary players need to start carrying some of the load offensively.

Bob was spectacular and deserved a better fate.

So first things first.

Pysyk getting scratched at his cap hit is a problem. It doesnt allow us to call up any possible infusion of offense (Tippett for example).

Trocheck has had one good game. It was at Nashville. And btw. That was his one good game the last 40 plus games. That's a problem. We need someone to push him down the lineup. Now.

Vatrano is supposed to bring physicality, grit, and offense. None of the 3 has happened.

Boyle is nice for a 4th liner.

Saarela experiment is over. See #1. Move Pysyk and get some real talent in..

Hoffman is a joke when he isnt scoring. And he isnt doing it enough to make a difference. 3 of his goals came in one game.

Acciari, Barkov trio, and Connolly are the only one that bring it. That's not enough out of your 12 forwards.

It's crazy how quickly things can change. Not so long ago, we thought we had a first line center in Trotchek, playing on the second line. And now, he's just useless...3rd line material at best.

He sill has a decent contract though for a team that is ready to take a chance in him.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the next months or next summer. We can't be serious contender with him as our 2nd like center.
