Yikes, could get very ugly. Here's hoping they keep it close and don't get blown out
Actually I wouldn’t be surprised if the Canucks win this one even if they put Martin Brochur in net. You SOMETIMES find a team will play out of heads when put into a situation like this (especially with how well they’ve been playing lately). It’s their NEXT game I expect them to get wrecked.

Dries has been one of my favourite players in Abbotsford, so hope we see him

If the team loses today I certainly won't hold it against them, Covid definitely screwed us over

If like half the Canucks team is recently out for Covid protocol, why is this game going forward? Surely there is a heightened risk of other Canucks players having it, even if testing negative right now, and then possibly exposing Florida to it as well? Not to mention it absolutely f***s our chances of winning this game or even being competitive.

Well, we did just postpone a bunch of home games. Would be a tough sell with the League at this point to postpone another even if the reasoning is sound.

Francesco Aquilini is a total joke of a businessman. It's like he thought this wave would just abruptly end by February and all restrictions would lift. No foresight whatsoever. He kicked the can down the road to hopefully salvage some gate revenue, but now the team is getting hit by COVID and he stands to reduce playoff chances while losing gate revenue as well.

This is going to be a bloodbath.

Don't understand Hunt getting in over Burroughs from an actual on-ice perspective anymore. Hunt supposedly can move the puck but we've seen no evidence of that 5 on 5.

Fla already played Edm and cal. They are set to play seattle on Sunday.

I highly doubt that the nhl would want to sent the furtherest team from Vancouver back here again at a future date to play 1 game.

vancouver is capable of icing an 18 skater lineup so they have to play this game.
Reverse the situation and say the van at fla game got postponed but the Canucks won’t be close to fla for the remainder of the season. Fair to ask them to fly 5 hours to play that 1 game despite them being able to ice 18 skaters? So no.
Just deal with it. Reality of this nhl season.

Not saying it would have impacted this particular game, but the stupidity around the postponement of the other games has limited our ability to reschedule the upcoming games as well.

I can deal with the reality of the NHL season but cannot deal with FAQ's shortsighted stupidity.
