That's why I said that he is a FANTASTIC hockey player earlier. I love him as a player, and I don't care about his political preference. If you know of anyone who can snipe like him please speak up.
This team desperately needs some scoring
big loss in many ways, but not even close to OVCherepanov could have been our OV
Edge has been eerily absent the last few days...
Pretty sure it’s because he has a life outside of posting here hahaEdge has been eerily absent the last few days...
You call yourself a hockey fan? Do you even have a remote clue as to how much the Russians covet their professional atheletes? Artemi Panarin may be a relative unknown here in the United States but I can guarantee you that Artemi Panarin is a one of their higher profile national athletes, and the Russian love to love their best athletes........unitl the show dissent to mother Russia that is...
If players were held accountable for something that happen 10 years ago there would only be about 50% of the NFL players playing right now.waiting before I pass judgement onm something that happened 10 years ago
we can not talk a certain subject here but I have been to Russia many times in the last 20 years (joy of living in Europe) and I can tell you--nothing is ever cut and dry and everyone has an agenda--so keep that it mind
pootin ass ass inated himEdge has been eerily absent the last few days...
Edge is......Panarin?!
Nonsense. He's the only athlete in Russia who is publicly critical of Putin's regime and supports Navalny. That takes some balls and makes him a target.Panarin a large figure in Russia? Are you kidding me? Calling him a large figure in Russia makes no sense. People outside of the sports world might not even know about him. Please.
This happened with the last incident and we got one whole win out of it.Assuming this is a fabricated story, one positive outcome on the hockey side of things is this could possibly galvanize the locker room with everyone showing support for Panarin when he comes back and there's more of a "play for eachother" type of atmosphere in the locker room.
Have you ever seen Edge post while Panarin is out there on a shift? Me neither.Edge is......Panarin?!
Yes, I am a hockey fan, and have been for a while. I will refrain from asking you the same question though. It would be rude on my part. You call yourself a hockey fan? okI personally don't think, Nazarov invented the story. The fact of matter, it's actually nothing by Russian standarts. I mean, I watched a video a couple months ago about a dude, who killed 3 girls in a car crash being drunk. They didn't even arrest him, because "he was injured and recovering from injures", and that dude lived at his home and went to night clubs every day. What a couple of punches are comparing to this?
This history targets Americans, because you know, how is it there nowadays...

I'd like to think that was kinda different though, since it involved two of their own teammates so there couldn't have been a sense of "dont mess with my teammate, we got your back dont worry", as it would look like they were choosing sides had they decided to get involved. This happened with the last incident and we got one whole win out of it.
If there were a police report from 2011 in Latvia, we would have heard about it a long time ago. Latvia at that time was already pretty much a part of western civilization, same as it is today.According to Nazarov, it happened in Latvia and officials were paid 40,000 to cover it up. What proof is going to exist either way? It's he said/she said unless police in Riga retained some kind of paperwork--but even then, that can easily be fabricated.
