I know more than enough about the current state of affairs in Russia.
The whole Navalny story is losing any heat, there’s no more protests about it, the last thing Putin needs to do is ignite this by creating a political hit on one of the most popular Russian hockey players.
It’s simply Nazarov talking out of his ass and nothing more
It didn’t come out quick enough they had to put the rug they were sweeping under down...f***in' eh. This is EXACTLY what I was hoping for.
Well, there are 144 million people in Russia. I'm sure many of them are anti-Putin and he doesn't have the time of day to be arsed about all of them. So when Russian posters say things are somewhat exaggerated, I get it. You're not gonna have Putin reading your personal emails. To be honest, I'm surprised his family is still in Russia. Panarin's anti-Putin stuff isn't all that new. You'd imagine they knew something like this would be coming there way.
They're gone. No worries. As I said, we all know your agenda. Stop wasting our time with your bullshit.
First of all, Brooksie needs to get the facts straight before calling it a “political hit”.
Nazarov said this alleged incident happened in Riga, Latvia, and it is not even in Russia.
Secondly, there’s zero need for any kind of retribution because Navalny is not popular among Russians despite how it’s portrayed in the western media.
some of you have really questionable attitudes towards the potential victimhood in this circumstance.
this seems questionable from a purely political perspective but some of you speak as if russia/lativa/the CIS bloc have no domestic violence victims and everyone that lives there cannot be trusted. If Panarin did this (absolutely huge if), will there be a rallying cry that his alleged victim is a liar or a putin crony?
Buch can help him with the Americanization processSo if Russia denounces him and he gets citizenship in the US, does that mean he will play for the US at the next Olympics? Too soon?
Dude you haven’t said anything lolI am not defending Putin LMAO, some westerners here are exxagarating, I am the one who is reasonable and has facts))
Litivenko as well? Panarin did the morally right thing standing up to that piece of garbage regime and sadly he’s probably starting to see the consequences
They're gone. No worries.![]()
Doubt it considering y'know. It would really be the icing on the cake if just ONE Russian star like Malkin or OV (even though he probably would never) to publically come out in support of him.
Or maybe that would be a dumb move on their part.
Why don’t people believe me - “guy who jokes about punching women”Dude you haven’t said anything lol
Aside from your general statements about people not knowing how Russia works, the only fact you’ve spit is that you punched a girl when you were younger
I doubt there is any reason for Putin himself to be upset about it. Someone close to him or in other ways liking him might be upset. This is probably the point @ViD was trying to make. That said, given that Putin is a big hockey guy, I do think Panarin is relevant enough to ruffle his feathers.
It would be a terrible look for the Rangers to take such a strong stance if there was ANY chance this is true.
Zib drinks the tonic and comes down with gigantism?
So now we have Chytil out, zbad is an empty vessel, and Strome can’t be carried by bread. Howden our 1C?
Allegedly, this happened in Riga, Latvia. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if that girl somehow mysteriously turned out tomorrow at some Moscow police station to tell this story.
This type of stance by the Rangers is impressive however what this also leads me to believe is that they knew this was coming. You don't hear about this article and then two hours later put out that type of statement. They've done their due diligence.
