Wondering if I'm bipolar, in trying to answer this question. I like Palat's game more, he may not be a centerman but he's certainly like a centerman, in that he drives the offense and is the straw that stirs the drink so to speak. I'll go with him.

Johnson, he can produce and play well regardless of his linemates, Palat has gone ice cold at times this season, that hasn't happened to Johnson yet.

Palat + Johnson = deadly duo. Those two have so much chemistry with each other its ridiculous and fantastic! both players are important to our team.

It really is a tough one because both are so good at what they do. Kucherov is also a guy you could throw in this discussion because he's just as much a part of that lines success this year. If I had to choose one though Palat is the guy I would choose. He wins every puck. He so smart defensively and if he were a better shooter he would be an all around elite player. If it were up to me I'd give Palat, Drouin, and Brown a shooting coach to work with all summer because if those guys were better finishers they would make our team unstoppable.
