In the 3 years there have only been 6 playoff games where kings outscored oilers 5on5. Oilers have outscored kings at 5on5 in 9 of the playoffs games

I appreciate that you went back and fact-checked, I was going from memory. I'll walk my statement back and say "the five-on-five play has been closer than the 3-0 advantage in the series would leave you to believe". Something like that. Los Angeles lost a few of those games where they led or were even the five-on-five play due to the massive gulf on special teams, which was especially evident last year.

Draisaitl is a very good player, but he's not unstoppable. McDavid is a one of a kind player who cannot be stopped. McDavid's skating alone makes him impossible to contain. Draisaitl doesn't have any attributes of that nature.

Draisaitl wasn’t stopped from putting up a 50-50 season for the fourth time in his career.

So why don’t teams stop him?
