No call... story of the series for the Wild
I'm glad the refs aren't doing any ticky tack stuff, obviously helps us with our shitty PK. But those kinds of things being seen would be nice. I don't think we have any of similar ilk as the game 1 x-check to Hartman or this slewfoot, but maybe I missed a thing or two.

We don't. Thought for sure hartman was going to do something similar but he's been disciplined so far.
I would like to test the equity in calls by having someone straight up punch Eichel in the face a couple times while he's being held by the ref.
As everyone is saying though, keeping it 5v5 is good for the Wild.

That slewfoot needs to be a suspension and if it’s not handled that way then it has to be handled by the players. That is the shit that ends people’s seasons. Absolute garbage ass reffing directed by the league obviously.

2 of the 5 were, goals 3 and 4.

2 (maybe 3) of Vegas' goals in game 1 were off Minnesota mistakes.

It happens.
It's typical to score off mistakes, but all four against the goalie last night were big mistakes. And that's unusual for Vegas. They don't often beat themselves. 1st was a softy. 2nd started with Vegas fumbling a simple breakout (and then blew the net front coverage). 3rd was the Shea Theodore show. 4th was the Shea Theodore and Adin Hill show.

Comparatively, Hertl stripping Faber isn't a mistake. Neither is Bogosian biting too hard on a well-executed 3 on 2. Those "mistakes" are relatively minor compared to the major Vegas goofs in game 2. They're equivalent to Vegas' mistakes in game 1. Let's be honest, if our defensemen and goalie were making those mistakes, we'd be calling for benchings and replacements next season.

Yes they are. Bad awareness by Faber and bad decision by Bogosian. LOL at "well executed". It was a nothing play until Bogosian dove towards a guy that wasn't a threat. I agree that Theodore had an atrocious period and half though. Sometimes it happens. We all know how much you like to point out when it happens to Minnesota. Somehow that still means the other team is good though. Odd.

I think you should have to produce 5 positive things you've said about in the Wild in the last 5 years to be using "our" and "we" here. That's probably not too much to ask. I understand what this continues to be. I'm talking to a cartoon.

Still not at all confident the Wild can take this series (voted VGK in 5) BUT it's nice to at least temporarily make all the people who wrote MIN off completely as non-competitive re-think things.
We can't possibly shut down VGKs top line forever.

Yeah I was wondering if Theodore forgot he extended with us, and was trying out for the Wild this game.

That said credit to your guys as well. You made nothing easy.
