With Boychuk and Komarov coming off the books the Isles will have around 13 million in cap space. They could take on Kanes huge cap hit. If Chicago decides to rebuild what would the Isles have to give up?

Where did you come to the conclusion that the isles have 13 mil in cap space?

I don't think the Isles have the tradeable assets to acquire him, tbh.
I would tend to agree with this. Any offer would have to include significant future assets + current roster assets that would actually be deleterious to the team now.
