Definition of "tweener." He was a perimeter player, and a depth scorer. Made himself a decent career out of it, with more than a little help from Tavares.

It's always a bit odd seeing someone retire when they had a few years overseas. To NHL fans that don't follow the KHL (and that's a lot of us on HF) it feels like he's already been retired.

Decent little niche career he had, there were a couple times throughout his career that I thought about wanting Pittsburgh to acquire him.

He's played 8 games in the KHL.

He hasn't been gone that long.

He was basically plan B for the Wings if AA bolted for the KHL last summer, but he lost out to David Booth and Martin Frk in camp...
