I was driving home from the airport this morning. Had the radio on and was listening to an interview with a twenty something. SOOO many times she said the word like. So stupid ****ing sounding.

Don't these people realize how moronic this makes them sound?

"like I dunno" "Like, she has a great voice" "She was like, the best employee Goldman Saks ever, like, had."

Idiots. Saying "like" should be made as socially unacceptable as smoking.

I can't respond to this without having the feminists or the NAACP come after me.

Can't stand it when people emphasize certain words in their sentences overzealously, for example when someone says "sooo".

Even more obnoxious when they capitalize it. It indicates a lack of control over language.

Let the feminists have a go as it's not just millennial females, males sound just as brain dead. This isn't a complaint about vocal fry. Stop snorting meth, millennials! Get rid of "like"

What's worse.... what OP said, or ending every single sentence as if it were a question?
