He's arguing when Gretzky scored his 894 not the total games played Wayne had.

I mean, any goaltender that gives it up will seen getting scored on billions of times over as it will be one of the most replayed videos in NHL history. Doubt they want to be on that highlight reel if they can help it.

I still think it would be funny if he seemingly got the record breaking goal late in the third, then gets a ENG for the fourth, only for the third goal to be credited to someone else on further review so the record goal turns out to be an ENG anyways

Ideally with multiple challenges taking up 15+ minutes of runtime debating on whether it counts or not so by the time it’s official there’s no energy left in the building
