His pace is better than half a goal per game. So at that pace we are talking 6-7 games to do it. Bos, Car, CHI, isles, CAR, Cbj, CBJ, isles, Pit are the remaining games. Home games are in CAPS. Needs a bit of a heater to get it vs Car. If he keeps his pace CBJ at home is very possible.

Something around 580 goals were scored while in Edm. Just over 400 after leaving Edm. His final season just got 9. Had 23, 25, 23 the 3 prior seasons. Probably feels he should have been able to hit 900.

Yep. He went into his final season needing only 15 goals to hit 900.

Gretzky knew he was finished after that season and not even the lure of 900 could bring him back for one more season.
