Tavares and Willy have never really had great chemistry. Tavares plays better with grinders (Hyman, Lee, etc) JT Miller is the type of player that could play with Tavares because he's skilled but also grinds and is physical

Trading for J.T Miller, calling up Joey Anderson, booting Simmonds and Spezza to the press box and breaking up Tavares and Nylander would solve our problems.

I think every team in the league has like a dozen games a year or so that for whatever reason they have no shot at winning, this is one of those nights. Still infuriating as all hell to watch live, but it’s a long season.

Goaltending is a problem, Sandin shouldn't play his off side or with an offensive partner like Rielly. Both can be true, but Sandins been solid for most of the year.

I would not say goaltending is a problem.

I do agree with Sandin playing RD and having another offensive mind Dman with Reilly is not good.
But those three goals were on Sandin.
Two of them were being outmuscled in front of the net(nothing to do with Reilly being offensive) and that last one was just a horrible mistake by Sandin, once again nothing to do with Reilly being offensive.
Even if Petr made that safe, it doesn’t take away that Sandin made a mistake.

Preferably the break away goal, awful play from Sandin but you're team desperately needs a save there, the goals might not be on Mrazek tonight, but the numbers (4 on 19) still isn't good enough.

Can Dubas and Keefe just admit that Sandin is a 4 or 5 Dman in the NHL due to his speed and size.

Columbus skunked Florida last week 6-3, these very sabres dummied the cats 6-2 a month or so ago. It happens. Games against garbage teams shouldn’t really be used as an indication of playoff success, unless you’re playing a garbage team (like Montreal last year)
