Glad to see Sandin get a look on the top pairing, not glad to see Liljegren out of the lineup. But I guess the Leafs do have 7 capable defensemen even with Muzzin out, so some guys are just going to have to sit without deserving to

Had to think Mrazek was going to earn another start this time. While I'm not sold on Sandin playing his off-side just yet (particularly in that spot of the lineup), I can understand wanting to both give Dermott an opportunity here and wanting to keep everyone on the team in the mix.

Lyubushkin has been a very good pickup so far, perfect #6 guy. Love the edge he brings to the back-end. Dude is built like a wall

There was a play last night where he ran a guy through the end boards. I couldn't make out who it was at first but realized it had to be him since no one else on defense would do that.

Still not confident in the goaltending, even last night it was only OK but it's Buffalo tomorrow so OK should be good enough.

Didn't like sitting Liljegren at first but he might need a bit of a break. He's played well but nothing wrong with a rest for a game or two. Keefe throwing Sandin is good besides Rielly. I like him trying everything.

Thats a positive actually. Pretty much that Lilly hasn't been great in 2 games and with him playing a lot, want him to take a break. Also that he earned time on the top pair.

Yup its a risk I remember the Rielly Barrie pairing gave me heart attacks. Definitely going to be interesting to see if they can build some chemistry through.

I agree with the decision to sit Lily, he hasn’t been good the past few games. Keefe is a very good coach. He sees what we as fans see and acts on it.
