The Senators have hit the road again for another five-game road trip, their second in the last month. The opponent tonight is a juggernaut as they're set to face the Pacific Division leading Vancouver Canucks. This is the second meeting between the two sides this season with Vancouver taking the first outing 5-2 at Canadian Tire Centre back on Nov. 9.

The Senators come into tonight winners in three of their last four games and showing great signs of improvement.

When Joseph and Pinto are back what are we look at for the bottom 6?

Something like :
Kubalik-Greig-Joseph
Brannstrom-Pinto-Kelly

That would be a big, big difference and you still have some grit on both lines

Looks great but not sure we can keep this bottom 6 AND stay under the cap.

Yeah that's fair. Brann looks better than Kubalik so I wouldn't mind him moving up to the 3rd line if we trade Kubalik

Ya, 5 late games on their first western road trip was tough slogging! We now have 3x 10PM games this week (Tuesday-VAN, Thursday-SEA, Saturday-EDM). Next Tuesday we get one hole hour back with a 9PM game in CGY. Uggghhh indeed!

I actually wanna see what he’d look like with top players. Maybe he’ll get a shift or two with Stutzle or Norris at centre

When was the last time we saw Kelly with a big hit or fight. He’s thinking he’s Ovie out there now.

Cut his ass. Same as kubalik. As soon as Pinner is back Kuba gotta go. Cut Kelly and bring up Highmore/Roby for a good third line of Greig/Pinto/Highmore.

I still believe in Boucher tho. And think he’s gonna be amazing on the third line

I think Kelly has had a decent year so far.

Generating a bunch of chances especially on the PK.

I hope you are right, but barring some kind of miracle, we are more likely to be a lottery team. It's not impossible, just extremely unlikely.
