As a Packers fan
I'm absolutely stunned at this turn of events, I feel terrible for Aaron and it could be a career ender to boot at that age those Achilles, Jets had high high hopes this year
I'm also astounded at how it's not my problem anymore either, it's a weird feeling, but I'll always appreciate him and what he did for us
Hope he doesn't get bummed out and quits , hope he has it in him to maybe give it one more shot before it's really time to go, would be a shame to end the legacy 4 snaps into your final chapter
On one hand you gotta think he doesnt want his career to end this way. On the other hand, you do have to question how effective he'd be next season trying to comeback from this type of injury at his age.

Gotta figure the CTE is already in full flight, preventing his brain from commanding his body to slide when he already has a 1st down and more
I truly admire the collisions these fellas take. But it’s a plain fact the mobile QB is destined for a severe injury. The way the game is played today, every snap is more QB dependent than ever. Seems like the window for them is getting smaller, of course there are exceptions the more pocket friendly passers but they are getting fewer and fewer. Plus the surfaces they play on are not athlete friendly. Good for the ground’s crew bad for the players.

Some crazy games today in NFL

Giants - Cards
Giants were losing 20-0 at HT. Won 31-28 in the last seconds with a FK

Commanders - Broncos
Washington losing 21-3 at HT. Won 35-33. Broncos made a hail Mary pass in the last 3 seconds and succeeded. Goes for the 2pts conversion but fail to QC homeboy Benjamin St Juste

Patriots 0-2 to start, another dynasty dead. 49ers 2-0, that's more to my liking.

Game in Jacksonville, was 120 degrees on the field. How can they play in such heat is beyond me.

At least they didn't get destroyed, but 0-2 and losing both at home is indeed looking like another non playoff year. I think it's also time to start thinking to let BB go!

It takes a real POS to throw haymakers on someone that is defenseless.
And you are an absolute moron if you want to pick a fight at a sporting event (or any event really).

Cheering for the 9ers here. First game I ever watched was Montana's 3rd superbowl. Became a Pats fan with Brady and now... I'm a free agent.

That's the nice thing about not growing up a diehard fan like in hockey, I'm kinda fluid with the team I cheer for.

I'm a Pats fan since the early 90's so it was great 20 year run now they are a mediocre team. Who are you eyeing right now to be your team?

I guess I'm kinda footing for the Chiefs and Bills. Still have a soft spot for the 9ers.

It's kinda cool going into different games and just kinda choosing a team. So much different than in hockey. Die hard Hab fan and the Wings have been my alternate over the years.

I'm a die hard Pats fan so I'm here for all the ups and downs. The Bills are one of the teams I almost always root against being a division rival.

I jinxed them real good. Ohio State scored the winning TD with les than 10 seconds left.
3rd and 19 only rush three but still give up the long play HORRIBLE play call particularly when Pressure was the only thing keeps that passing game from killing them. Please that final play and not being ready for a run. :badidea:

I feel bad for the kids who played their guts out only to have poor decision making by the defensive coordinator bury them. I'm not a happy camper right now.

Now I'm learning ND only had 10 men on the field for the last two plays. Seriously no one upstairs noticed it with all those coaches coordinators and staff. Seriously how much money will a gaffe like that potentially cost the program. Damn if I'm a higher up I'm asking some pointed questions.
