All the haters that said CU would regret hiring Deion... not feeling it.
I really hope he says. I know there's gonna be a few NFL team knocking at his door. Just gotta hope that Shedeur doesn't get drafted by Dallas.

Also I hope he finds a different OC. I still really don't like Shurmur.

I don't want to hear crap from Jamal about injuries. The reason he's injured is because he played in the Olympics instead of resting, and then he still somehow showed up to camp fat and out of shape anyway. It's always something with this guy.

I'm one of them. (AB, with his hand high in the air)

I give him props this season, for toning down the silly #hypetrain that he instigated and proudly (and ridiculously) rode last year. And his results this season speak for themselves. In particular, the team's defense really improved. He deserves credit for the on-field results.

Now, let's see if he bails alongside his kids.

I don’t have a source but I heard Prime was already in discussions to rework his deal?

I’m still not a huge fan - the last 2 mins of the game against CSU was really childish and it was obvious to me that there was a lot of stat padding going on throughout the year. I’m old and conservative though so maybe I’m just out of touch with the whole athlete-TikTok era. Just not a fan of how they operate and conduct themselves. Reminds me a lot of 80s/90s Miami Hurricanes.

Personally, I can ignore that stuff.
Prime completely turned around the program, in two years. The Buffs are more than relevant now. A five star QB decommitted from USC to come here.
And Prime has said that he is going to stay. Obviously he has to say that in the moment, but I don't think his coaching game would work in the NFL and I hope he knows that too. He is good for the Buffs.

If Deion can load up, they’ll be going to the CFP consistently. Couldn’t find a better yourself as a kid wanting to market himself

That’s just nonsense, what deion does well is market the team. Bringing attention to it, that makes people want to be apart of it.
I get it. The program is definitely better. He’s turned things around. I won’t deny that. They might be a top 25 team the entire time he’s here. Im just not a fan of the antics. Sorry. 🤷‍♂️

Nothing to apologize for. The antics are too much, but I won't deny the media attention aspect giving relevance the Buffs makes me giddy.

Dabo Sweeney and his ilk have just as big of egos, they just present it in different ways.

I just don't see Prime being an NFL guy. It's not like he can go give his kids opportunities there, that's not how the NFL works. Plus the upside was so easy and huge at CU. Program with resources just needed to gain some attention and he has a super easy press to deal with. He can't go to SEC and make that happen and I don't see any upward moves in the Big 18 worth making. Maybe Rutgers or Maryland but neither seem to be upgrades and both would have more critical press around.

Seems like his only challenge now is proving the program turnaround at CU especially without his kids. Add to that his health and I see a guy that maybe does this 3-4 more years and then taps out.
