I think the 12 team playoff is great, and the fact the there aren't any great teams makes it better. I have an idea of how I think it's gonna go, but I don't know for sure.

How many teams do you realistically think can win it all out of the 12 in the playoff? To me the playoff should be a tournament of the best of the best with the reward of a championship. This is more participation trophy type stuff for a 1/3 of the field.

Bama's non-conference was Western Kentucky, USF, Mercer, and a 5-7 Big Ten Team (Wisconsin).

And they'll have even less incentive to schedule anyone remotely competitive moving forward. Why bother scheduling anything beyond Mercer, Georgia State, etc?

Based on these agreements, a large market team cannot pick in the lottery for two consecutive years and a smaller market team which receives revenue money cannot pick in the lottery for three consecutive years as per the NY Times.

It gets even more absurd

Sox dont get revenue sharing "We pay into the revenue sharing for other clubs" we are penalized for that as well

So, Sox play in major market and don't get revenue sharing so MLB rules f*** them over after historic bad season
