idk, both are obviously awesome but I think TQID has the superior stand alone tracks, while Meat is Murder is better as a whole.

Would probably say TQID > Meat is Murder in the end, though. Need to listen to the entirety of Meat is Murder again once or twice.

Also, Nick Drake is GOAT.

I wouldn't disagree. :yo:

Well Nick Drake is the seminal Chamber Folk dude so of course not, but Chelsea Girls is an underrated gem. I'd say most people only know her with Lou Reed.

Shame that Drake died so young.

I will check it out some time. Still have so much stuff on my iTunes I need to go through, like Captain Beefheart.

And yeah, it really is. So many great artists died young, though. Jeff Buckley's case being the weirdest, perhaps.

I'm still waiting for Chance to drop some ****. His collab with James Blake was real catchy. Run the Jewels was the best album of 2013 (that or Acid Rap) and I'm real glad El-P is finally getting props, the early Def Jux stuff was criminally slept on. One of my favorite acts out right now is Shabazz Palaces, with Butterfly from Digable Planets, and their new album comes out this month.

and if we're talking solely 90s, then Liquid Swords or Illmatic are the GOAT. My personal favorites from the 90s besides those are Blackstar with Mos Def and Talib KweLI and De La is Dead.

I haven't listened to that much Chance but when I went to a Mac Miller concert last summer Chance opened for him and it was pretty good.

You just mentioned both the GZA and Nas in one post. You are beyond GOAT.

Some of my favorite albums.
