Did anyone happen to commute via the 50th street C/E subway station yesterday morning?

I normally take the E to 5th/53rd but seeing as the Penn Station platform was so overcrowded and there were announcements of E train difficulties, I jumped on the C to take it to 50th and walk to my office.

Well.

I get off at 50th, and I can tell the people around me are a little annoyed. Things are moving more slowly than usual exiting the station.

At the bottom of the stairs, I hear someone from at the middle of the staircase yell: "WHAT THE ****!". Here we go.

Finally, I climbed to that part of the staircase, and lo and behold, the biggest piece of human **** I have ever seen in my lifetime. And it was smeared EVERYWHERE, as if someone who might have had a yelling outburst not two minutes prior stepped right in it.
