Who is fired next
Hunt is nowhere near being fired and shouldn't be but if I was O'Rourke and my GM traded Bedkowski and Delisle for concrete shoes Barlow and also traded my very capable backup in Bender to Flint for... reasons? And then fired me...

I probably wouldn't be too happy right now. Didn't Sennecke have all the points in all the games before he was fired too?

Sad.... they have no finish with their top two missing. This team is not as deep as what people think. ..

No offence but who thinks the Generals are deep? This is a team that is top heavy which can prove to be very advantageous for the playoffs but is not advantageous when those guys are missing.

Lack of depth is the Generals problem which is why they are looking more at one solid physical D-Man plus depth pieces at the deadline.

It’s the same people that can’t wait for a loss to complain. Any real fan knows the team and last years team for that matter plays differently without Ritchie in the lineup. Also Oster not being there doesn’t help this. Gravelle is very green and this playing time is great for him. And for someone to say Bender was a capable backup? Please. There is a reason he only played a handful of games last year. I’d also make that Barlow trade 1000 times. Barlow is not a flashy guy. Everyone can’t be Ritchie and Senneke. Barlow has one thing and that’s a knack for scoring goals. Had a slow start sure. Change of scenery, new systems etc etc. The guy has been scoring regularly since. This is a guy you want in the playoffs. I agree they need a solid D and some more experience in the bottom 6. There is a lot of rookies or seldom used players from last year in that bottom 6. I did not watch last night. Reading about lack of effort. The Pete’s play an attack game and it was only a matter of time before they started putting wins together and kudos to them. Gens got a road point after being down by two with a new coach missing two key guys and a number one goalie. Ok. There’s obviously a reason the coach was let go and we don’t know what that is. Let’s see what this team looks like after the deadline.

A guy on a random Oshawa FB group mentioned the firing COULD be racism related as it pertains to Wang. He said he’s heard a couple things about it but had no solid facts. Just a little tidbit for Gens nation to consider.

Tough one last night for the gens, looking like a team showing that depth is a problem, depth is very important come playoffs will be interesting to see how they address this before Jan 10th

Barlow in the playoffs is the same as you get in the regular season.. Nothing added to his game but he will shoot.. Would like to see him add something to his game. Likely way too one dimensional for the next level. Likely hence the non invitation to team Canada.

Hitting the net more with that shot would be a start.
The kid has a cannon but his accuracy is horrendous. -It really shows on the powerplay too when they force a pass to him constantly and he shoots rockets into space over and over again.
This is a flaw that I have heard ALOT of scouts comment on.
I believe he would have probably close to if not the best shot in the league if he can get more control of it.

I was sitting with a NCAA scout last night that was doing the DJ Khalid "Anotha 1" every time Barlow missed the net with a slapper.
It was comical.

On the "Depth" conversation going on.
I think it's kind of crazy to point at depth as being a problem with 3 of the best players on the team out of the lineup.
You take out 3 of the top positional players in the league on any team its going to have major ramifications. -I think everyone knew it would be a tough month for teams like Brampton, Oshawa, Kingston, London, Barrie when you lose that much talent.

With that said I'd like to see Oshawa grab up a capable first or 2nd pairing dman.
I believe they likely will land Gibson and Griffin may be gone if that happens.
