Try trading for Gibson in the summer.

In the short-term, the only reasonable option would be MAF or they're going to hope one of these two goes on a heater at the right time.

These two are not as bad as they're showing right now but these ups and downs are too extreme. You can't be a legitimate contender when you don't even know which version of your goalie is going to show up during the game.

Varlamov or Quick are options
Both are very injury prone. I like Quick but his aggressive style needs to be insulated by a solid defense. Same as Tim Thomas. Both Quick and Thomas when they had success had very large D cores in front of them that blocked shots, cleared rebounds and boxed out forwards. These are things that the Leafs struggle with and have tendencies to be lost in our own end at times. I don't think Quick would do well here.

Gibson is signed long term to a relatively team friendly deal and would solidify the position for a long time.

Probably more of an off-season move, but if they could swing it now that would be great.

Give Campbell some time off to figure out what's going on, bring up Kallgren and give him a shot.

See what you have internally there before making a trade.

I've seen Gibson's name a few times on here, is he actually available? If so I'd be gunning for him and almost anything on the roster other than the obvious would be in play to get him, guy is a certified stud.

People were praising Mrazek after the Wild game, that he was quieter in net. That’s not what I saw at all, he was over compensating everywhere and he couldn’t control any rebounds as a result, the score flattered him. He is no answer in net, or more correctly, he’s a crap shoot kind of goalie.
