Looks like 15 skaters on the ice for practice today. Connor Hellebuyck taking it off so Jets pick from 2011 Jason Kasdorf. Mark Scheifele, Gabriel Vilardi, Vlad Namestnikov, Josh Morrissey, Mason Appleton and Colin Miller are also taking the optional.
Jets captain Adam Lowry left the ice early as he took a Morgan Barron shot to the head region but he was fine. Coach didn't even know it had happened and he was chatting in the hallway.
