OOT scoreboard 2025 playoff edition

Didn't get mentioned in the old thread but certainly deserves it:

He is the 5th coach in history to reach this mark.

Couple predictions for the funs before the first game starts.

- LA finally beats Edmonton
- Florida doesnt make conference finals. Great team but too much hockey the past two years.
- If Tampa manages to beat FLA they will make the finals easily
- Kotkaniemi scores heartbreaking goal against NJ
- No one pays attention to Vegas and all of a sudden they're in the finals (I hope not)
- Toronto will find ways to make the Ottawa series difficult

I'm gonna say Winnipeg in 6, but I could easily see St. Louis winning in 6-7.

I don't trust Winnipeg/Hellebuyck in the playoffs, especially with how hot St. Louis has been.

The Stars have been horrible down the stretch, they lost Robertson, Oettinger has been getting blown up. The only thing that would make me say them right now is Blackwood turning into pumpkin.

Gonna go Colorado in 6.

Winnipeg in 5
Colorado in 6
LA in 7
Vegas in 4

Leafs in 7
Caps in 6
Tampa in 6
I think I'm going with LA also. Gonna wait till the last minute before each series starts to make it official.

Vegas definitely, probably Leafs, I'd like to say Caps definitely. Absolutely feeling Tampa Bay over Florida and probably Carolina in 5 or 6. Hope to be wrong on that last one.

The reason the Kings lost previously to the Oliers was bad goaltending and poor discipline putting Edmonton on the PP (to tee off on the bad goaltending). They have a goalie who has beaten the Oilers in the playoffs now.

helle has let up goals on each of the breakdowns his team had. Binnington gives up a goal off own teammate and a deflection.

I'd count that deflected goal as a mistake from the blues though. Gotta tie up the stick.

I don't trust Skinner. I think he's a bum. I don't think he's much better than Pickard, who has spent the better part of his career in the AHL and is 30-something years old. I think the jackasses that run the place are going to give him a similar deal to the ones guys like Daccord, Blackwood and Lankinen just got. Further handiCAPping them. Which will only hurt them in contending in future years. Skinner had A LOT to do with why they didn't win the cup and why they kept having to battle back in the prior rounds in the west.

You can't even hear the goal horn go off because the crowd is so loud. I forgot they were the home team because I can't hear the goal horn.

I mean, yeah, it's a screen, but when you've already allowed 2 goals on 9 shots before that and you made literally maybe TWO saves in all of last year's playoffs.....
