The problem with firing Adams is there are no real options that will take a comparable salary to him.
They'll probably end up with Pierre McGuire replacing him.
There’s always somebody out there that would take a GM job. It’s like when someone joins a rando, irrelevant radio butt rock band like Trapt (or Puddle of Mudd lol) even though they’re shit and haven’t put out a radio hit in 20 years and their singer is a known piece of shit and difficult to work with. And also knowing they’ll be paid no more than the national average wage, if not even less because they’re a hired gun and the singer/only original member takes most of the money, which still ain’t a whole at this stage.
It at least gives them cred in their music career or so they hope.
And it’s probably still gonna pay more than whatever job they had with another team doing something else.
