Second greatest event in my CBJ fandom.

Number one happened a few nights before in Pittsburgh. The range of emotions I experienced in that arena is something I may never experience again.

Cool, high quality video without any announcers.

I wasn't at that game, but the game 6 noise during the amazing near comeback from the 4 goal deficit was deafening.

WHEN this team gets a good start next season and is competitive from the start of the season, the atmosphere at NWA has the potential to really be amazing almost all of the time.

Gotta have the CBC feed with Bob Cole announcing. From the time I was young, I always dreamed of having that distinctive "shottt.....SCORRRREEEEE!" in an overtime game with my hometown team. And here it is.

I was so raw with my second concussion that I don't actually remember watching it, although I know I did (against the recommendation of my doctor lol). But just knowing it happened and the videos makes it one of the best events in my life. Can't wait to get back to the dance!

And that was a helluva play by both Wiz and Umby.

I nearly lost consciousness a few times during those two home games. I'm pretty sure during this one I also shed a tear. Great feeling.

I am fortunate to have the jersey Nick was wearing when he scored in my collection as well. Still can't believe the CBJ sold it. It's a keeper. :D

That night is probably the best hug ever. The sheer emotion of the first home playoff OT win. We'll need to win the Cup to beat it.

I was fortunate to make all three home PO games last year despite not being a STH. Game 4 was THE best sporting event I have ever witnessed in person, including Browns and Indians playoff games. After Foligno scored in OT, I was literally jumping up and down while embracing total strangers (all of us grown men)...it was quite surreal. I still get chills watching or even thinking about it.

I have found it quite a downer to watch the playoffs this year with us not being there.:(

I went to the game with a buddy that is from Boston and is a Bruins/Pats/Red Sox fan, so he's attended TONS of big playoff games. Even he said that was one of the best sporting events he's ever been to. He was jumping up and down hugging people just like you said. :)

I never thought that I'd see a sporting event live that would top the noise of the Ohio State-Notre Dame game at the 'Shoe in 1995, but this game blew that out of the water. I've never, ever heard noise like that, my head was ringing for hours after that game.

A couple of observations. First, if this club ever wins the cup, Nationwide will be a total insane asylum that will rocket it up the charts of NHL arenas. The noise in that building would be unfathomable. I hope that I'll be able to witness that too. Second, does anyone else take satisfaction that on that night, super star Sidney Crosby was on the ice for both the tying and winning goals? Sure he got the last laugh, but it was nice to see him get a nice facewash that night.

My voice was totally shot for the rest of the night after that one. I was also hugging people I didn't know, and my initial jump after it went in, I actually fell over the seats in front of me. I'm usually a pretty mellow guy, my family said they've never seen me so outwardly excited before in my life and that was true, I was freaking out jumping up and down, and I never do that. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life and I can only hope there will be more like that. I still watch the goal every once in awhile just to hear the sound. Truly amazing.

I'll never forget the feeling of disbelief that shifted so quickly to pure joy when I saw Foligno's shot go in.

I also remember walking past this in the concourse on the way out.

With a minute left that night I noticed a Pens fan in Row A whip out his phone to record the end of the game. Something tells me he never uploaded that video to youtube

I will say this. My feeling of disbelief-becomes-joy was when Dubinsky scored to tie it. And while yeah, I jumped and hugged and everything (in particular after Nicky scored), I will never forget the look on my buddy's face after that Dubi goal. If there was a picture next to 'stunned disbelief' in the dictionary, his face would be it. I practically had to slap him.

The call on this clip is bad, but the clip is good because it cuts off just as the chili chant starts.

I grew up with HNIC as well and a little dream of mine was met when I was on HNIC in Game 2, after Jack Johnson scores to tie it up, they zoomed in on me for a few seconds, yelling at a Pitt fan, haha.

I was on a bus listening on my phone when they tied it, and in the bus station in Springfield MA of all places when Nick scored.

What a great series. Watching these cut through the enjoyment of our finish this year and made missing really hit home.

I may be alone in this boat, and obviously this moment and the Dubi tying goal were absolutely huge and will be memories I hold in my heart until we win the cup (;)), but my favorite moment of the playoffs is still the last 10 minutes of Game 6.

Game 6 was the ultimate train wreck for the team in the first three periods, except the final 10 minutes. That team fought like hell, swung and swung and kept swinging until the final buzzer. From 4-0 down to 4-3 with 4 minutes to go, I was convinced we were going to tie that game. The electricity in the arena (from the TV, I wasn't there) and in my house was unreal and I will always hold it close to me. Even though we lost, those final 10 minutes were the definition of the team. I still love Game 2 and 4, don't get me wrong, but the last 10 minutes of Game 6 is the reason why I am a Blue Jacket fan.
