Olympics 2018

That... doesn't actually look that scary as a Finn. It seems that Sweden is lacking elite forward talent in this version of their national team.

It is good dephwise, having the sedins in the 4th line, even if they have decline is sign of good deph. However, I agree, there is lack of superstars forwards in the team, only Bäckström and maybe Forsberg are superstars right now. Hopefully someone of those that have started this season good can have a breakout season, otherwise I do not think sweden has a chance to win it.

Backlund is good defensively also while being way better than Kruger offensively and physically. There is no need to bring in a guy who is good at 1 thing when we can have Backlund that is good at 3 things.

How about, Johansson, Rakell, Backlund, Rask, the sedins? Eriksson? It is probably to early for A Nylander. Burakovsky has look really good since he come back after the healthy scratch and has been far more active than before, lets see if he can keep it up. I wouldnt have him on the team now, but if he keep this up he could have a chance.

Landeskog has got so many chances in Tre Kronor but he is never good. In big ice he will look terrible. I dont think A.Nylander will be ready.

The forwards is ok, d-men i agree feels very medicore. But at least czech has start to produce some top talents this last seasons, but many dark years to cover still.
 
Feel like 2018 is premature for Finland, 2022 will be better. There's still a possibility that NHL doesn't strike a deal and there won't be any NHL players.
