I like how Sweden sticks to their classic design, as if they are an Original Six NHL team that refuses to mess with tradition.

Its a shame Canada can't also stick to one design for international play.. we should have more tradition in how we look instead of being like an expansion team that changes their sweaters every few years.

I hope the new design that we wear at the World Juniors, World Championships and all other IIHF events stays the same for a very long time at least.

Man these are lame and boring. The only good one is Sweden and even then im tired of that design. the ones with the country name across the chest look like Soccer jerseys

Totally agree with you. I like that Sweden maintains a traditional look regardless of what tournament they are playing in. It's nice to see consistency displayed by one country at least.

I'm not a fan of trying to make jerseys look trendy. I also don't care for attempts to make all the countries jerseys have some semblance to one another. There should be no singular group that foists their designs onto the group of countries participating in the tournament. Each country should design their own jerseys.

Canada's Olympic jerseys look kind of stupid. I'm not sure why they can't have a more traditional look to them the way Sweden does. I do like that Canada has settled on red, white and black for their main colors during the last number of international tournaments after briefly including blue in earlier versions or using only red and white.

Compare to Sochi and be happy we don't have the flag design anymore. Looked out of place although I originally liked it. Probably only because of how Selänne played in those Olympics.

I like that they went in a "modern" direction with most of the kits. Hockey has a habit of always harkening back to the 60's or 70's with their uniforms (even with newly designed "retro-style" uniforms), so kudos for trying something fresh.

Buuuut, these are just awful. Those multicoloured sleeve graphics look to be (inexplicably) inspired by World Cup 94:

Seriously, that no place on a hockey jersey! I also don't understand the love for script-based logos, particularily for countries like Slovakia and Germany which have great national shields. These are all pretty disappointing.

People are like ''WE AREN'T GOING TO WATCH THE OLYMPICS WHEN NO NHL'ERS ARE THERE'
But will gladly complain about jerseys which look good when you forget all about some 'THIS ISN'T A HOCKEY JERSEY' bs.

I really like Canada's jerseys. It's too bad we don't get to see McDavid in one.
For anyone wondering why Canada changes jerseys, it's so they can sell new ones.

Sigh of relief every time I see them stick with the original design. Thank god the 70s and 80s are forever gone..

I really don't like the USA one. Not enough red. Maybe it just the angle of the photo. Korean one looks pretty cool.

I was really scratching my head wondering where Japan came in here... finally realized it must be the women's side.
