That's one of the worst trades we've ever made for sure. Sittler for pretty much nothing is right up there as well. And not looking for another Dubas debate ATM so I'll just leave it at that for now.

No one, game is so different. You can’t just come down the wing and score on wrist shots any more.

Not to mention the physicality of the game. Wendels toughness and physical play was equal to his scoring and skill play. They definitely don’t make then like anymore.

im trying to think if there was another player like him who was so effective as a scorer as well as a tough guy. It’s a tough one,… maybe cam neely?

It is amazing to watch some of the goals scored in the 80's.

Fans heads would explode if a goal went in today on some of those shots.
