Hope this thread is in the right place.
I have family coming in from across the pond in december and I need a total of 13 tickets. apparently 13 isn't enough to qualify for group tickets as per the Oilers, so I would have to wait till tuesday @ 10am to purchase tickets.
The chance of me landing this many tix on that day is as high as winning the Lotto, so my question is what can else I do ??
:help:

Do you know how many people you need to qualify for group tickets?

I'm not too sure you got many options to get that many seats together.

Maybe buying enough to qualify as a group then selling the extra seats or the Scotiabank Suites have 13 person rooms, although I'm not sure its easy or cheap to acquire those either, thats all I can think of

I am a season ticket holder, we get to purchase starting Monday 10am.
So I think there will be very slim pickings for Tuesday. Our email says ticket limit of 4 per game.....on the ticketmaster site it says limit of 8 tickets per game. But either way 13 together isn't happening. You are going to have to consider 6 and 7, or 4,4,5 instead of 13 together.

That is your best bet for sure. Depending on the game, you should be able to sell the excess tickets. Some opponents you'd take a small loss on the tickets you had to sell though.

I had the pricing for the Suite rentals awhile ago, but I can't find any emails. I think it's around $10K for a suite so it's up there in price for sure.

The other option is to buy resale tickets (stubhub, ticketmaster resale, etc.). Sometimes they have a bunch together. You will usually pay a premium for those though.

Good luck!

Just buy a 70" TV for the money you were going to spend on tickets and watch the game with everyone at home :)

I logged on today to see what prices looked like for the Nov 3 game against NJ, not an overly hot seller I wouldn't think. Wanted tickets in section 105 and they were 324 ea! Is that not insane? I went to a Tampa game last year a Saturday night game similar lure for 200 of ticket exchange, I can't fathom why anyone would buy those and not wait for resale

You are too early. Season Ticket holders don't even have their tickets yet so they aren't posting them on resale sites.

If you are really wanting to go i'd start looking in late september/early October for resale tickets.

Yes that is my plan, I think that was non resale tickets though, that's what the Ticketmaster price was

Taylor Hall fans might drive up demand for Devil's games?

There is a pair in 115, row 20 listed for $162 right now ($200 each including fees). Not an earth shattering price, but if you're set on going to a Devils game, it might not be a bad pair to jump on.

We could start posting them on ticket exchange yesterday. Already a huge amount of listings up.
