Is Savoie getting any ice time, or is he just not that noticeable here?
He looks pretty slick to me. Almost scored in the second but the Jet's goalie swiped the puck off the line.Is Savoie getting any ice time, or is he just not that noticeable here?
I've noticed Grubbe more out there today. First game I've caught this tournament, thought I'd see more of him out there. He looks pretty slick to me. Almost scored in the second but the Jet's goalie swiped the puck off the line.
James Stefan has been completely awful in this tournament. How did he get over 100 points?
Not as much today but a few games under his belt and the guys look a bit tired today. He showed plenty. Especially last game.Is Savoie getting any ice time, or is he just not that noticeable here?
At least he doesn't have pro experience like Grubbe and Petrov do. They both didn't stand out either.James Stefan has been completely awful in this tournament. How did he get over 100 points?
I think part of it is chaulk isn’t a very good coach, especially for getting offenseDisappointing that they only scored 1 goal in three games.
Other teams had rookie dmen and Goalies, so we cant use the excuse that Edmonton went up against all AHL or NHL tier talent.
Maybe just maybe we don't have very good prospectsI think part of it is chaulk isn’t a very good coach, especially for getting offense
Hard to say if Chaulk set the lines or an organizational decision above him. He stuck rigidly to his line combinations even with little to no scoring opportunity through 2 of 3 games (I didn't see the Flamers game). This was clear with O'Reilly in the 1C spot and Savoie on the wing then rolling Clattenberg at first line wing with veteran Petrov in a secondary line role.Colin Chaulk is also awful at setting up lines and especially the powerplay. Why doesn’t he have Savoie on the hash marks so they can untilize his great passing? O’Reilly should be in the Savoie’s spot circling because he has size and a good shot
