This is bad for Edm. Both players are bad value. The term on Armia’s contract is worse.

The extra years on armia's contract make this a killer for edmonton. I think the best thing about puljujarvi's current situation is that if he doesnt turn things around you can always walk away

If Armia didn't have the extra years on his contract I would do it. Id rather have the option to walk away in the summer.

Yeah. Quite frankly, i think Armia would probably be a better fit and make the Oilers a slightly better team. But those extra years on the contract pretty much make it a non-starter for Edmonton.

They can't afford to risk those extra years on what is at best, going to be a marginal upgrade. I think they'd rather just keep Puljujarvi with the option to walk away and spend elsewise in FA. Or add more to the pot to seek out an actual, more clear cut upgrade.

I'm starting to think JP is elite.. he's in every trade proposal. Everyone on HF seems to want him.

NO to this offer. Still pissed about Romanov because he could've helped our blue line IMO

Armia is actually quite a good possession guy on a 4th line..problem is contract, which makes him a cap dump, so unless oilers see him as a good pick up for the playoff I dont think they should do this

I'd do it as a habs fan but I don't see why the Oilers would do this unless we retain almost 50%. Armia is a cap dump, nothing more.
