Blues could probably use a 2C and a 1LD. However, I don't think they're going to be willing to pay for either in UFA or via trading assets. I think they're likely to look to take on a guy who has a questionable contract that could potentially fill the hole there.

Penguins have Tristan Jarry and Reilly Smith on the trade block. They might try to move other vets out too, but those may not be easy (Graves and Rakell) or the team might not want to part with (Eller and Acciari, though I think they should trade both if you can).

Pittsburgh wants young players, prospects or picks. If they are looking for anything on the UFA market, it would be a top-six winger to replace Jake Guentzel.

It could be a slow off-season or perhaps a surprising one. Nobody knows.

Leafs needs:

- Right shot dman capable of top 4 minutes on a contending defense
- A dman who can run a PP with a good point shot (could be the same guy as above)
- A tandem vet goalie to pair with Woll
- A 2nd line center

Leafs surplus:
- Top 9 wingers (One being Marner, some being future top 6 wingers who are just getting their feet wet in the NHL, some still prospects like Cowan)
- First round pick (maybe not in surplus but it is for sure available)
- Some decent goalie prospects

Flames Needs;
2nd pairing defense. Preferably righty. Don't care how expensive as long as the term is short
Top line center

Flames Surplus;
We have all the 2nd line wingers you could hope for;

Coleman, Mangiapane, Kuzmenko and Sharangovich all for sale at a variety of prices

Talent to play with bedard. Some bigger bodies on the lower lines. A right handed dman to play on the second pair with Korchinski. A veteran goalie to claim or push Soderblom for the backup position.

Primary need:
Top-6 upgrades. At least 1, preferably 2.

Surplus
One or two of Gourde/Tanev/Schwartz/Burakovsky.
Prospects minus Wright
Drafts picks minus this years 8OA. Though, that may be on the plate depending on quality of forward(s) we could trade for.

New GM, PoHO, Coach (all of them)

Needs: Rebuild

GM wants:
First line wing, preferably Right shooting

Probably LD. Physical? Shot? Puck mover? Who knows what the GM is thinking

Middle 6 cheap wing. Like Iafallo, but inexpensive.

Ducks needs:
Healthy season for the kids
Top 6 RW
Defensive minded RHD

Assets available:
LHD (not Mintyukov or Zellweger)
Non 1st round draft picks
Cap space

I think a lot of Ducks fans want a Fowler for similar level RHD (#2/3 guy, on 1-2 year contract)

I do think Rakell would be a good fit with the Kraken's top 6.

My team is unique in that we need to get rid of expensive mediocre players and replace them with cheap good players.

I do think Rakell would be a good fit with the Kraken's top 6.
We need someone with a higher skill level and more reliable on the injury front. We already have Burakovsky and Schwartz, who do that job well.

We don't really hear many Kraken rumors given how Francis works but there have been rumors of our interest in Necas, Laine, etc.
