I'm trying to nail down whats the next dastardly thing we do that they are going to scold us for. Maybe the fans will clap too hard after a goal or something. We can't do that................thats showing off.

I miss the 80's goal celebrations. The Theo Fleury back slide was my favorite. We need that in the WJHC. Especially on the 14th goal.

Serious question why do western canadians love to do the wave so much? Is it because they live so close to the ocean. Don't recall seeing it in Ontario @ the world cup or at previous world junior's in Ontario and Quebec.

Western Canadians like to challenge themselves. The wave takes coordination. They aren't that coordinated. When they actually succeed in implementing a wave, which is rare, they get a cookie as a reward.

I’m not sure, but you’re right it is more of a western Canadian thing.

I believe it originated in Alberta at the old Northlands Colliseum. You see it at Oilers and Flames games still here and there as well sometimes in junior, although not as much as in years past.

The Maritimers are usually too drunk to execute a wave.

Dynamic offensively, some beautiful stretch passes and elite vision with the puck on his stick.

A couple defensive miscues as well, overall not his best game but not bad either.

A goal is coming very soon for him, he just needs to keep hammering the puck on net.

He's got a bomb but he couldn't hit water if he fell off a boat last night...
