I think all of the D goes top 10. Obviously Dahlin, but Dobson, Hughes, Bouchard, Smith & Boqvist. That leaves 4 spots for forwards. Svechnikov, Zadina, Wahlstrom, Tkachuk & Kotkaniemi. Someone is dropping out of top 10.

That guy is crazy, so is McCagg, who absolutely went off the deep end because of it. Our top 12 is fine.

Boqvist might fall, but I'd be shocked if he falls out of top 12. Ditto Wahlstrom. Wahlstrom could go 4th or he could go 12th. No one knows how this draft is going to fall. A few spots here or there is nothing to get worked up about.

I don't get people who flip out over a fantasy draft.

Unless you're taking a 3rd round talent at 5th overall

Well, all I can say is good job HF. Our world-breaking mock managed to make a “member” quit HF and take it to Twitter and ask how to delete his account as well as enraging another Twitter “scout” and 0.0072% of his whopping 695 followers.

Also, if it was the Boqvist pick that sparked all this, who I would have chosen also, extra credit to @Yoshidas Island for his incredible work.

I picked him pretty high in the other mock

Seemed like a good gamble at this point. IIRC he's second in U18 scoring in the AJHL this year and he's an august birthday. He's already comitted to Harvard and they've been developing some great players lately. He's feisty like Gallagher, too.

Yeah, he was leading the AJHL in PIMs when I checked.

I watched a game and JBD stood out big time, looked absolutely dominant and a few leagues above everyone else... but Wong was good as well and played on the edge. The Brooks announcer hated him an awful lot too, which can only be a good thing.

With the 186th pick, the San Jose Sharks select, from the Sudbury Wolves of the OHL, forward Kirill Nizhnikov.
'' This is a guy who possesses as good of puck skill as any player in this draft. But he needs to play with a high level of intensity in order to be consistently successful, which hasn't been the case so far in the OHL. A true boom or bust project'' .

Mathletic is up next and has been notified.

Crap, I must had been daydreaming. I skipped Kirill since I was certain he’d been picked already.

With the 188th selection in the 2018 NHL Draft the Ottawa Senators select from Karpat of the Finnish Junior leagues, Goaltender Justus Annunen

"The typical Finnish goalie prospect. He has ideal size, good lateral movement with an aggressive presence in the crease and active hands. Annunen finished his season on a good note, having a strong play-offs then finishing it off as the goalie of record for the Gold Medal Fins at the U-18s. There's a lot of room for progression in his game but when you have a chance this late in the draft to draft a goalie with ideal size and athleticism, you take it."
