Gustafsson really needs to work on his skating but his production in a pro league is more than intriguing. Surprised nobody took a chance on him. As a late 2nd it's 100% worth it.

5 hours since last pick. One to go? It was going at a good pace today otherwise.

It would explain the Crisp and Staum picks

Booze cancels your inhibition and gives you confidence, sure. But this is straight up psylocibin-caused desillusion. The Staum pick especially. "Lets take a risky pick... with close to no upside".

At this point I think Benoit-Olivier Groulx is good value. He might not have the best top end potential but he is a smart player with good chances of making it to the NHL , might end up a defensive specialist but you also need those guys to win.

Was wondering if he'd continue to stay under the radar, like you said great value at this point, to me there's no way he's not taken at this point in real life.

Great draft everyone. Atleast I know I won't be getting any of my 3rd and 4th round picks from the first mock again- they all went in the 2nd. :sarcasm:
(O'Brien, Topping, Marchenko)

Das okay, still some nice picks left.

His real life value is higher than his value in a vacuum because cheap replacement level player is something every good team needs to keep afloat.

:pens select C Ruslan Iskhakov

"A nifty Russian forward who plays a very 'Russian' style. His hands and elusiveness are reminiscent of Datsyuk as he's nearly impossible to hit. Likes to hold onto the puck and make plays rather than throw it away with a dump in. If I were betting on a little guy to make it out of this draft class, I'd choose Ruslan."
