Maybe BA can swing for the fences and move up to get Misa...man o man
Congratulations to you too!Hey y’all, Isles fan coming in peace. Congrats on winning the lottery! Wondering if you’d be open to dealing the pick? Probably anything off the NHL roster but Barzal and Sorokin would be on the table
ah yeah, we do not possess that. I was hoping we could interest you in something like Dobson + Bednarik or Nelson.Congratulations to you too!
We'd be looking for a young blue chip forward, preferably a C. Maybe rewind the clock on Horvat by 5 years and you'd have exactly what we're looking for.
I think we'll probably be best served using the pick to get that young blue chip C.
Sounds like the type of player that doesn't cheat the game. Might be an option for us at #4. I bet every Utah fan is a lot more excited for the draft now.Frondell has all the qualities and skillset to potentially be a top line, impactful centreman in the NHL that can put up 60-70 points as a two-way pivot. Worst case scenario being a second line centre. He can be a threat at five-on-five and on the power play when he has ample space to shoot to create a play.
Anton Frondell
We are so close to be a perianal playoff team.
4.) Utah Hockey Club: Caleb Desnoyers, C, Moncton (QMJHL)
Utah may not have gotten up to the top two due to lottery rules preventing a team from moving up more than 10 spots, but this win still brings them into a totally new tier of prospects than they would have been picking from otherwise. Desnoyers is a big, two-way center who was one of the top scorers in the QMJHL this season. He’d make for a strong complement to Logan Cooley in Utah’s long-term top six, joining what’s already a strong farm system. — Max Bultman
Doesn’t that sound a bit like Beaudoin?First mock draft I've seen has us taking Hagens.
C
5'11"
176lbs.
"A solid, reliable leader who at worst feels like an incredible third-line center. There might be some questions about Hagens’ size, but he plays bigger than his frame and offers huge upside as a locker room culture builder."
NHL mock draft 2025: Instant projection after lottery determines order
Not the most exciting player description I've ever read. Especially about a potential top 5 pick.
Beaudoin is exactly who I thought of based on SBNation's description.Doesn’t that sound a bit like Beaudoin?
Edit: I see @jormumgandr says is better compared with Keller.
I don’t see BA taking him with so many bigger Centers available…. But you never know .. he also like NCAAFirst mock draft I've seen has us taking Hagens.

Oh man that guy really passes the eye testMaybe BA can swing for the fences and move up to get Misa...man o man
As long as we don’t draft a player at 4 who would be available at 8Sounds like the type of player that doesn't cheat the game. Might be an option for us at #4. I bet every Utah fan is a lot more excited for the draft now.
Assuming it goes Schaefer, Misa, Hagens 1-2-3, I would take Desnoyers at 4th but I am also biased. I think he has the potential to be a bigger and better playmaking version of Anthony Cirelli. The perfect all-situations 2C and coaches dream. UHC will have seen him lots as well while tracking Gabe Smith - who BTW is blowing my mind with his improvement level this season. He's developed a scoring touch seemingly out of nowhere and there's nobody that can handle him physically in junior right now. Skating is still a project but at 6'5 and probably 215lbs at 18 years old you have to expect that. They are both also benefitting from having perhaps the best coach in the world that's not in the NHL.Excited to watch the QMJHL finals now, Desnoyers has been on fire in the playoffs along with Utah prospect Gabe Smith who was drafted 4th round last season.
Oh man that guy really passes the eye test
Who could we possibly give up to grab him ?
Also I wonder if NYI goes for him instead of Schaffer
