What a sad state boxing has been in forever. Last night was embarrassing for everyone involved, including myself for watching it.

Miss the glory years where not only the heavy weights were legit, but also the middle weights.

The two Mexicans put on a great fight before the glitch. The two women who followed was apparently excellent as well.

thankfully I couldn't stay awake that long, I remember watch all Tyson's fights at the local watering hole, it was usually the fastest way to blow $25 bucks if you didn't come early for the preliminaries, man he was a scary dude back in the day..............

Everything about 1990s was just better. Well except for that McDonald's pizza.

It's weird, I know that pizza was probably made of ground up cardboard boxes and plastic, but hot damn did I ever like that kind of garbage back then. We grew up in an area without many food choice though, pizza in particular. We just had Greco, and I still hate that place to this day.

I am in the vast minority who tried the McPizza and LIKED it - to me it tasted like Pizza Hut pizza - very greasy.
Keep in mind, i can have pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner (and snacks), and never tire of it, so i love all pizzas.
I was too scared to admit I actually like McDonalds pizza, thanks for leading the way

My wife thinks it is my favorite food.

Back about 1970 there was a standalone pizza shop, Dundas Street East, London, Ontario.
Eastown Pizza, best pizza in my lifetime. We all have our different tastes for pizza. Digby NS, had pizza and I was like ... what is this?

I move away for a decade or two ... and they've gone to Vegas and won best pizza (some category) and open a bigger restaurant, and move on to "what the audience wants?" and their pizza's are just another pizza. They go belly up.

...
I do miss Tony's deep fried panzerotti. Windsor Pizza opened in Calgary, making these but did so right before the pandemic and ... they're gone.
...

Steaks in Alberta ... you can get good and poor at any craft fair here.

I randomly watch the Gatti-Ward fights when I want a boxing fix. Gatti had great fights in general but those three were off the charts.

Found a 70s inspired indie band from Minnesota. They are pretty fun

Thanks always looking for new music. I’ll give it a listen doing my last blow of the leaves.

Ever listen to The Record Company?
(That’s who’s playing as I type this)
Check them out.

back when you could smoke in a restaurant, still remember those tin ashtrays, boy I miss smoking darts..............
Us asthmatics sure don't miss it. Nothing like pounding a Big Mac meal and sucking back some Ventolin to negate the second hand in my lungs.

I hate winter. Too lazy to shovel, to cheap to fix my snow blower.

I hate winter.
Where do you live. I'm unemployed right now and cheap.

I've received pamphlets every year for over a decade for people offering to shovel my snow. I've never once taken them up on their offer (and they were cheap too). I've always done it myself even when I had an injury to one arm and it took three times the time and effort.

It's time to fix my snowblower. I prayed last year for little snow and it was granted. I'm not sure my prayer will be answered two years in a row so I have to prepare.

The best was when Simmonds was told that McDavid has a heated driveway and thus didn't need to shovel. Simmonds just responded with "McDavids a boss" lol.
