Also the 2nd offer isnt better than the first. 22.5 AAV vs 20.8 AAV. Ramirez is a massive idiot if he takes this.

I hope Vladdy and Bo have Ramirez's agent or Marte's because these deals are underpayments.

Are the Vancouver Canadians playing in a more competitive league this year? Better players etc? All the teams seem the same as previous years. What has changed?

Yeah, if the offers we've heard of are real, Ramirez shouldn't even consider them for a split second. He should be getting closer to $200 million in extra money.

Same as last year High A. It changed the year covid hit. Mostly the same teams because these leagues are geographically based, but because it's a different level it's going to see better/more advanced players, not just for Vancouver but for all the teams it faces as well. Imagine the strength of teams we used to send to Dunedin. Vancouver took that level. Dunedin's now a level worse than it was, and Vancouver's old level doesn't exist anymore, it was removed. Anyone who would have went there either goes to Dunedin(making Low A slightly worse than it used to be) or FCL(the old GCL) making that slightly better than it used to be.

That was a helluva rain today at the park. Thankfully they now have places for us to get out of the weather.

In my house, the two us that got COVID suffered for a couple of days and the one who didn't got to be miserable for more than a week (and counting).
