DeGrom out at least 4 weeks. The guy can just never stay healthy it seems. Too bad, he's fun to watch.

Schrzer just tweaked his hamstring too. Taijuan has a knee injury and is questionable to start the season. David Peterson who made 15 starts for them last year is also questionable for OD. and Lucchesi who was their 6 starter last year is out for the season with Tommy John. Team has bad luck. Im not a Cohen fan but i do like the Mets.

We can trade them a durable Hyun Jin Ryu for an injury prone Jacob DeGrom.

How come the Mets blocked my phone number?

It certainly seems like they can never catch a break. Even though they should be good enough to win 90, you know they're the Mets and would never put cash on it.

Cleveland offered Ramirez 4 years $89 million. No wonder his agent tweeted "LOL" the other day. That offer is insulting and not even close to a starting point. They're not keeping him, there's no way. Ownership is way too cheap, always have been.

Berrios starting.

Looks like this could be the opening day lineup?

That's actually a sign of a bad leader. The boss isn't supposed to be your friend.

I've seen it suggested elsewhere that this is some kind of trade tactic. Supposedly to improve his value.
So people should hate their boss?

Just because you like your boss doesn't mean they're your friend.

Don't put words in my mouth.
Without more context, it's essentially what you implied. If the players like their boss, thats a good thing. Yet you then stated that is a sign they're a bad leader and shouldn't be their friend.

I've worked with bosses I've hated and ones I've liked. Guess which environments were alot better, and thrived way more, and the bosses were better leaders?

Wow I hate Gurrerro Jr. in the 2 hole. I’m old school in that I want my best hitter #3. Hope this is a spring training thing.
It's not. Charlie has suggested that he wants Vlad hitting 2 because it will give him more AB over the course of a season (which makes sense)

Plus it takes advantage of his OBP too.

I can’t deny he will get an extra 13-16 at bats over 162 it just feels scarier with Vlad #3. Something about a 1.000+ ops hitter waiting for you after Springer and Bichette just feels so psychologically intimidating.

Get used to it, the best hitters league wide bat 2. It ensures more at bats over the course of the year and a negligible difference in RBI opportunities.
