I don't get that move if you're the Dodgers. Pollock had an OPS of almost 900 and was worth like 3 WAR while being one of the Dodgers best hitters since they signed him.

Kimbrel starred to self immolate the moment he put on a Sox jersey. I guess the Dodgers are so loaded with bats they feel like they can deal away one to shore up a perceived weakness with needing a closer? Going from Kenley who can cause cardiac issues to...Kimbrel, who can also cause cardiac issues.

I guess you bank on Kimbrel's 2.0 HR/9 last season being an outlier?
 
Anyone see any fun futures bets ahead of the season? Mckenzie Gore to win NL ROY at 40:1 odds looks interesting.

Man why do the Jays always get hoe'd when it comes to The Show.

The Jays collection is expensive as shit to do and my reward for completing it is friggin Tom "watch my forkball get blasted 600 feet" Henke?

You got Carlos Delgado, why couldn't you give him a lower overall card instead of Henke for the second time in three years?

Yankees Reporter, Suzyn Waldman was on Blair and Barker and said this about Greg Bird;

-He could be your Rowdy Tellez
-Thought Bird was going to be the next Mattingly but kept getting hurt
-Can backup Vladdy because he is a great first baseman but don’t expect him to start long term
-Says she spoke to him 2 days ago and said he is very happy to be on the Jays and very healthy
-Says we will love Bird
-Also says Fowler is very nice but doesn’t see the fit but “you never know”

Great interview.

Hilarious that the game will be free in 4 days on game pass but it's $50 to buy it today. I know you get packs and all that but $50 is a bit crazy for 4 days of early access.

I bought the PS5 edition since the Xbox version had problems last year with input lag when you move the PCI and pinpoint problems. (That and the early access version comes with a steelbook case, that was more my reason for doing so)

Gonna try and grind out a decent team during the window since lord knows all that's online rn are goons/content creators lmao
 
As hard as it would be to not pick Vlad for MVP... I would be happy to pick Bo, especially at those odds. Voters tend to go towards the top offensive guys, but a SS going 30-30 and hitting .300? That might get it done.
 
Legit would have Teo in my top 20 for MVP. He's not in that top 44 and some of those guys at the bottom of that list are trash, it's a f***ing joke. Can we extend him for cheap now before people realize how good he is?

Selecting his contract automatically adds him to the 40 man. Now that he's on it there's 1 more spot left that probably goes to Greg Bird. It was full but the Chapman trade sent 3 40 man guys out(Smith, Logue, Snead) and only brought 1 in

Yeah, the xbox version was a bit buggy but seemed to get better after what I'm assuming was a patch. The first month or so your pitcher would just stand there and not move. Other times I think it was the server as almost every pitch would be insanely hard to even get close to the zone. Even when leaving the ball right down the middle and throwing a fastball, you'd always get that sound like the other player guessed correctly. I only played online so I can't speak for any offline issues.
