Has anybody noticed a change in off ice comments this year? It seems that quotes from the players are less standard, or is that less heavily edited? Things have obviously gotten a bit looser on the ice but they early impression is that it has followed through off ice. It seems the players are able to express their individuality more than previously.
That's an observation rather than a criticism. The ethos that DL and DS followed brought two cups and that forever will be the great thing. It may not have been the best for every individual but it got the best out of that particular group. That group has changed significantly and it looks like this group are getting a new off ice regime as well as the on ice changes. Maybe to do with a younger generation? Thoughts?
