Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Crazy how Martin Jones is beating Samsonov for the #1 job while Woll is out. Jones was awful with the Marlies as well.

I always underestimated the players abilities to play through sickness
I got the flu and was basically in bed for a couple of days, studying was hard enough and that required no movement. Fact that these guys can go out there and not only play but play well at an elite level is insane
Hell watching the games is difficult right now.

If this game was against San Jose I’d be worried about a slow start or lack of effort/focus but considering the Rags are ahead of us in the standings I know we'll at least get an honest effort if nothing else

Is there any reason that we shouldn't "want to compete" as well?
These guys are paid a fortune to play a game, I think they should be expected to compete every single game they play. And there should be zero question at all about competing when your opponent is one of the top teams in the league.
Let's say these guys play 3 games a week, even if they play 23 minutes per game that still works out to 10 minutes a day. I agree with what Bobby Orr said - I have no problem with these guys getting paid all that money, but they should be giving 100% effort on a regular basis.

Of course the Leafs will compete. I don't buy into teams losses are a result of not competing. It's rare when a team doesn't show up. Sometimes you just don't have it.
I was talking more about the Rangers having a burr in their saddle after taking a beating on home ice

That's something people often seem to say - oh boy, that team is going to be really motivated tonight or whatever else and I always think yeah, so what? Why should we be any less motivated? Anyhow, whatever. GLG!!
