In a fairly close vote, Brady Skjei beat out the competition to win round two. The Butcher is added to the poll.

Please write who you want added to the poll, and give a reason for it. This makes the discussion here more lively.

THE RULES

WHO IS A PROSPECT: http://www.hockeysfuture.com/whatmakesaprospect

HOW TO RANK PROSPECTS: Based on their value in a hypothetical trade or waiver draft. This takes into consideration a prospect's ceiling, how close he's to making it, his health, work ethic, the whole deal. Imagine there was a prospect waiver draft and you could keep only one prospect. That guy is our #1 prospect. Then imagine we had one more waiver protection. That guy is our #2 prospect.

TOP PROSPECTS

1. C J.T. Miller
2. D Brady Skjei

Voted for The Duke because he would've scored 60 goals had he not gotten injured late in the season.

Add Allen because he's very close to playing in the NHL and is a safe prospect.

Duke ainec. Add Allen. Truth be told I probably should have voted for him instead of Miller in the first poll. I think he is the better of our forward prospects by quite a bit.

Lindberg. I think he is a sleeper. I think Duke goes back to juniors this year and needs at least half year in the AHL at some point. I hope I am wrong.

Add Allen. He could be on the roster opening night depending.

Looks like Missiaen got a QO, so he's back on our list of available prospects. Jean, Wilson and Stajcer weren't qualified, so they are officially off our property list.

passed Duclair cause I assume he maybe gets a cup of coffee w/us at end of year.

leaning to Lindberg over Fast otherwise, but went with McIlrath since Jeff Buek is upbeat on him.

Fast, add Allen.

I think Duclair is a great prospect, but I'm not ready to put him over a guy in Fast who has produced in the AHL, and didn't look out of place in the NHL.

...obviously, I'm in the minority here....

McIlrath add Allen

Until Duclair plays against grown men, I take what he does with a bit of a grain of salt.

As long as you apply that same logic to Jonathan Drouin, Anthony Mantha, Sam Bennett, and every other juniors prospect that's a point getter, that's fine.
