He's averaging 18:05/game so far since his recall. I think that makes him a valid #4/5 D in general?

The Preds are such a crappy team, though. Wilsby didn't exactly light the AHL on fire, but I would say that after Josi and Skjei he is the 3rd best defender on the current team. Again, that is not necessarily saying much. But he skates very well, minds his gaps, he closes and angles against the rush nicely. He isn't physical or huge, but he is smart and has good positioning. He also can carry the puck or make a breakout transition play, although again on the current Predators team that's not exactly very noticeable.

He wasn't getting rave reviews from his AHL play, but our media is pretty notorious for completely ignoring the AHL team. But he has been a revelation since his recall. The guy should really just be a full-time regular making like $2.5M per year. Sort of like Fabbro was, except on LD, which is a bit more stacked up in front of him here.
