He had a .775 % in the preseason and a .878 % at the time. Good to see him rebound but he sucked for us..931 sv % in 5 games for the Avs.

Isnt that what they did with Blackwood?Wedge is what he is, he's not a true starter. he is a good backup who's playing pretty rough right now sure but he will bounce back.
COL should either pay up and get a true legit elite goalie or upgrade their D.

Yes, apparently the deal was made with the idea that Blackwood could be a long term solution. Thus they wanted to act now to get a good look at him and then maybe try to pitch him an extension before he gets too expensive.Isnt that what they did with Blackwood?
