Reprimanded me is still protesting today, albeit in a more restrained manner. Yes, I still don't believe in the jinx. In all seriousness, this whole Columbus issue, as far as I'm concerned, feels like last year's equivalent of the Rangers: when combined with key injuries to some great players, they're an annoying club that plays us hard every game and can eke out wins through sheer force of will. You can see why Tampa always has trouble with them when the postseason comes around, although last year they finally overcame it. So much of their early season issues, at least to me, came from Dubois becoming a cancer and the goaltending (particularly Korpisalo) having slow starts to the season. Now that the chemistry is starting to re-form and their goaltending is back to their normal, sometimes-spectacular selves, they're back to being that plucky club that we all know and hate from the Metro.

The Canes have lost by more than 2 goals only once this year - against Tampa who scored an ENG to make it 3-0. It is pretty incredible that they have been within striking distance of a win in every single game this year. In some ways that makes it a lot more frustrating when they blow a lead or lose in OT.

That may be accurate, and a reason we want to be done with Colombus even with 2 more games coming.

But we need @TheRillestPaulFenton to be what we need right now:

Which, again, is why I'm not as panicked about this current winless streak. They're at the very least extracting points out during an injury-plagued portion of the season.

The way that thing is looking at the arrows is the way I look at the pet hair on my pants as I'm walking out the door to work: "Crap, where did I leave the arrow roller? I don't have time for this..."
