Insider Trading with Bob McKenzie and some other dude says that Ryan Callahan has a 99% chance of being traded, and if Girardi does not have a deal by the deadline they are trading him - they do not want to lose him to free agency.

Nobody wants MacDonald from NYI, and Miller is not generating as much hype as they anticipated. And Cammalerri was offered a contract by Burke/Calgary but has not signed it yet.

Carl Soderberg has really emerged this season. Pretty surprising, especially since he's mostly blind in his left eye.

Edmonton is like the HF Boards dream team come true. First overall pick three years in a row and nothing but picks and prospects. And we see the results.

i would be happy to be the EDM gm, plenty of bargaining chips (not buffalo chips). imo edm could trade yakupov, gagner, hemsky & this yrs first for a stud goalie, stud captain & a pair of D men they would be a force.

Anyone else get the feeling that the Avalanche might be in store for a rough final part of the season? The offensive production is fantastic but they are really starting to regress on the defensive side of the puck. They are in the bottom third of the NHL in SA/G, have slid back into the middle of the pack in goals against and have an inconsistent Varlamov as their main netminder.

Just seems like a recipe for a late season slide.

IMO, they'll tighten up.

That very large man behind the bench will exert his iron will and make it happen.

Little Granlund making his NHL debut tonight for the Flames. Would be cool if Mikael and Markus would face each other sometime this season (can't remember if/when we play Calgary next time).

i would absolutely love it on a couple different levels. i have a feeling more people than not would feel conflicted about it.
