That bullshit Mahomes “late” hit flag was awful. They need to just get rid of the penalty in the rule book. If a quarterback is a runner, then they accept that they will get hit. If they don’t want to get hit, the onus should be on the quarterback to get down before a defender is there.

Sick of Mahomes abusing the sliding QB rule. He does this all the time.

No idea how they didn't give it back to Green Bay, but I don't think helmet-to-helmet applies.

Pretty sure only if it's a "defenseless" player. I don't think kick returning applies to that.

Well, then I've seen A LOT of missed calls in this area, which I doubt is the case.

On the fumble, they must've felt that an Eagle had a hand in there enough that it wasn't clear control. I still find that highly questionable. Not a penalty though.

Going back to this conversation, it absolutely was a penalty and the league fined the player afterwards for the hit.
