It's a one year deal. I think he was mostly referring to any long-term deals.

1 year deal.. and it's good insurance against Zacha/Quenneville/whoever being able to start as a center.

worst case, we dump him for nothing. best case, we keep him until someone is ready to take over and then trade him for whatever at the deadline.
